I have over 36 years of experience in the healthcare industry both nationally and internationally at senior management level. My passion lies in assisting key stakeholders in utilizing finite healthcare resources to achieve sustainable outcomes and optimum organizational performance in alignment with the organization’s vision and mission.

In my most recent experience in the Middle East, I held a Senior Management Medical Advisory and Quality Compliance role with Saudi Aramco, the world’s leading Oil and Gas Company. Here, I used my trusted executive management experience and subject matter expertise to monitor and advise on the Company’s Medical Benefits Plan, which was executed through a Joint Venture with Johns Hopkins Medicine and a Third-Party Administration Agreement with Bupa Arabia. This role required an in-depth knowledge of current healthcare practices, an ever-changing healthcare environment, as well as a recognition and respect for cultural norms and diverse working groups within and outside Saudi Arabia.

In my previous roles within Ireland’s Leading Private Healthcare Network, I worked as CEO at Mater Private Cork, Group Development Director, and Director of Quality at Mater Private Dublin. I also held various roles in nursing and business units where I demonstrated my agility and commitment to developing and applying my talents across a range of senior executive responsibilities, including Executive Management, Governance, Strategic Formation & Execution, Business Development, Financial Management, Quality & Risk Management, Human Resource Management, Change Management Initiatives, Team Leadership & Collaboration, Business Values and Ethics.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and in Applied Business Research, an Honours Degree in Nursing Studies, as well as a Higher Diploma in Quality Management and various certificates from Harvard Manage Mentor Academy, Board Match Ireland, and the Institute of Directors. I am a member of the Institute of Directors (Ireland).
